Ancient Origins of Halloween:
Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1.
This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31 they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth.
Spiritual research has revealed that Halloween is a festival that can create negative energies, generated by entities and people who delve into spiritual practices without understanding what they are dealing with, hence inviting negative energies and spirits into there live, whose objective is to generate and spread their black negative energy in society. Once the “veil” has been pierced and a portal opened it is extremely difficult, sometimes impossible to close.
It’s important to note that once the “veil” to the other side is lifted you may not like what you find or expect to find that is why it’s important to stay away from “playing” with Ouija boards, spell casting, ghost hunting, pendulums,, anything of a psychic or paranormal nature,
Once the “door” is open “anything” or anyone can enter and it could be very difficult if not impossible to get whatever comes in to leave. Also take into consideration that any spell that is cast or affirmed towards another person wit intent WILL return BACK to the person who invoked it, ten fold or more.
Increased ghost activity and nightmares during Halloween:
In places where Halloween is celebrated, the activity of ghosts increases by 30%. Due to the increased activity of ghosts and the negative vibrations created by the various costumes and decorations, negative energy in the environment goes up considerably on the evening/night of 31st October, i.e. the time Halloween is celebrated. This is a the heightened effect of negative energies continues for 4 weeks after Halloween. The effect then slowly subsides over a 6 month period.
Even during natural events such as eclipses, full moon and new moon there is an increased activity of ghosts. However this is due to natural phenomena. In the case of Halloween, the increase in the activity of ghosts is purely man made.
Spiritual protection is imperative during Halloween and the month following, in order to prevent any type of “attachment” or possession by Earthbound entities or dark forces. Sage is one of the most commonly used forms of protection, however in extreme cases, it provides little in terms of a spiritual shield. It’s similar to wearing a sweater in sub-zero temperatures. The best tools for iron-cad protection are the colors silver and violet. Silver is the shield and violet is the highest vibration in the color spectrum that turns the negative into the positive. In addition to this Cinnamon incense should be used (earthbound don’t like the smell) and frankincense/myrrh to raise the energy for positive spirits to come in. As an extra precaution, the 23rd psalm and the prayer card for Archangel Michael will seal the deal/ These ARE the strongest protection tools around today, if you want to stay free of negative attacks.
Halloween can be fun but to delve into the “other side” or invoking an entity comes with a price that many don’t realize until it is too late. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
